NEWS FROM MATERO COMMUNITY
Greetings from St. Mary’s Mother of the Redeemer Community School.
It is our hope and trust that you are well together with your team and the entire Sandy mount family. We write this letter to give you some updated activities that the school undertook during the Term which closes on the 6th of December, 2019.
The school operated smoothly during the whole term. The most significant achievement was the awarding of our school the status of examination centre for grade 9 national examinations. This has helped push the profile of our school high and we pray that we shall maintain the high standards that the school has strived to achieve. Grade Seven examinations were successfully conducted. 167 pupils sat for examinations and it’s our sincere hope that the school will achieve the 100% pass rate even this year.
The feeding program during the term went on very well and all children had enough to eat. We wish to thank the Development Office through the Provincial for intervening in times that we almost faced challenges with the feeding program. Further we wish to thank you and the team at Sandy Mount for your continued support to our programs in the school.
